why are we surprised by this?
appalled, yes
but the wind goes
where there is concave
where there is inlet
swirls and returns
to flow
or to confront itself

by fear or by desire
we all get what we expect
or what we dread

why complain?

stand, rather
witness
accept what is
then move to change
